If you are using Rear Rack batteries, it is necessary to have a Rear Rack Kit for mounting them on the rear wheel of an e-bike. However, if the battery is not intended for the rear wheel, the Rear Rack Kit is not required. In such cases, you only need to securely fasten the lithium battery mounting base to any suitable location on the tube where there is enough space to mount the battery.
One of the most efficient ways to mount an ebike battery is by utilizing the Rear Rack kit, which comes included with the battery. This kit enables you to attach the battery to the rear wheel of your ebike and can be adjusted to fit various rear wheel sizes. Additionally, rear rack ebike lithium batteries often come with a built-in tail light for enhanced visibility. The Rear Rack can also accommodate a case or saddle if desired. Currently, the Rack Rear kit is available in black and silver, but other colors can be requested upon inquiry.

With the rear rack, adjustments can be made by swinging it back and forth and lifting it. The ebike lithium battery base plate is securely attached to the rear rack using four screws. In rear rack style batteries, the discharge cable locations are positioned at the rear. In fact, the rear rack design allows the battery to be compatible with various bike styles available in the market, offering adaptability and versatility.

The battery base plate is securely attached to the shelf, providing stability. To install the battery, align it with the base plate and slide it into place. Additionally, the motor controller input wires (positive and negative) must be connected to the battery. It’s important to note that the discharge cable is connected directly to the battery, rather than the base plate. Therefore, whenever the battery is removed or installed, the discharge port connector needs to be disconnected. Due to its relatively large capacity, there is no available space inside the battery for mounting the controller.
Begin by screwing the base plate securely to the shelf. Next, align the battery with the rails on the base plate and slide it into position. When it comes to the motor controller input wires, you only need to connect the positive and negative wires to the base plate. Since the discharge wires are connected to the base plate instead of the battery itself, there is no need to remove the discharge port from the controller each time the battery is installed or removed. It’s worth noting that the battery has a relatively large capacity. Additionally, the controller can be conveniently fitted at the end of the battery base plate.
To get started, securely screw the base plate onto the shelf. Then, align the battery with the rails on the base plate and smoothly slide it into place. When connecting the motor controller input wires, only the positive and negative wires need to be attached to the base plate. Here’s the advantage: since the discharge wires are connected to the base plate rather than the battery itself, you won’t have to remove the discharge port from the controller each time you install or remove the battery. Keep in mind that the battery boasts a relatively large capacity. Additionally, for added convenience, the controller can be easily fitted at the end of the battery base plate.
Depending on the requirements, you can choose a battery with the following functions
E-bike battery level indicator light. Press the switch to display the current battery level, when the power indicator only shows the red LED, it is necessary to charge the battery.
The power switch controls the operating status of the lithium battery. When the switch is closed the battery will enter a low loss state and the battery will no longer supply power to the motor. The battery will be activated when the switch is turned on.
Lithium-ion battery USB port can provide charging for mobile devices. It can be customized with 5-12V output voltage and 1-2A current. The USB port is female.
A Bluetooth-enabled BMS can be installed inside the battery, and the battery condition can be checked at any time by connecting to the battery using Bluetooth on your cell phone. It is also possible to turn off the battery and adjust the battery parameters remotely by Bluetooth.
The Rear Rack E BIKE battery compartment serves as a waterproof (IP650) enclosure that houses both the ebike controller and the battery. The size of the battery compartment varies depending on the specific battery type being used. In the provided picture, the dimensions of the controller are L85*W52*H30MM. It’s important to note that when the controller space is eliminated, ebike batteries can have a larger capacity, providing even more power.
When the battery is depleted, the battery taillight, being connected to the battery, will not function. To activate the tail light, you can either use a switch specifically designated for this purpose or press and hold the battery indicator light button. This will enable the tail light to illuminate and provide visibility while riding.
The battery pack discharge port is connected to the battery fixing base plate. Different discharge connectors and different lengths of discharge cable are available. The discharge connector is connected to the motor controller and thus activates the entire bike and brings it to life.

Down tube batteries can be customized with up to 72V voltage. We also have 60V 52V 48V 36V 24V 12V battery voltage. The higher the voltage, the lower the capacity. The battery voltage should be the same as the motor controller voltage.

The current Down tube type battery style can be installed in the maximum 50A BMS(Battery Management System), the maximum continuous current of 50A. The common 1KW motor is 30A current, 1.5KW motor is 40A current. The higher the current, the stronger the power, but also very fast power consumption.
